Meet my Miqo'te!
My first ever class I played was Conjurer, the pre-requisite to Whitemage :3 I had so much fun leveling it, I actually didn't mind making another character to play as (free name change! because 2013 had no available name changes to buy with cash >:o ). I still remember my very first day playing, and my very first friend that I ever made in that game, who invited me to his Free Company(Guild/Clan), and all that good stuff! Even though I started out on Whitemage, when I attempted to do Coil of Bahamut Turn 1, I was on Scholar, with full Royal set from Labyrinth of the Ancients. My heart started pounding so bad when the Snake split into two "oh shit oh shit oh shit" XDD I went from panicking on my very first raid, to farming T13 like it was nothing. Time really does fly by.
Considering I've 'diagnosed' myself with a healing addiction, it was natural that I decided to level and play Scholar as well. c:
When I officially started raiding, I actually did raid as Scholar. 1st and 2nd group I ever raided with required a Scholar, so I gave it a try. When my second group reformed I changed to Whitemage, only to return as a Scholar for my 3rd group, then once more changed to Whitemage for my 4th group, and my 5th (current) group.
But don't make any mistakes! I can still play my Scholar just fine in Final Coil of Bahamut (:
Scholar feels nostalgic to me, like a Disc Priest from WoW, which I mained, almost feels natural. But I feel comfortable wherever I am as long as I'm healing.<3
You can bet all your Gil i'll be leveling and playing Astrologian when expansion comes out! Definitely gonna get all three healer Relic weapons first >:3
My last class I thoroughly enjoy playing at this current moment, would be Blackmage! You really can't deny that you like those huge crit numbers when you Flare back to back in dungeons with huge mob pulls *q* It's a really nice break from healing all raid long. Considering I have my Scholar to 50, I also have my Summoner to 50, but I don't have the Dreadwyrm book for Summoner yet >: While Summoner is fun, and spreading DoTs is nice, the Flare damage is makes me drool with excitement *q*... I MEAN WHAT. *cough* I just like Blackmage more than Summoner.. Y-yea.
I've been leveling throughout this gap before the expansion. When I first started, I only leveled the magic classes to 50, and Archer high enough for Raging strikes. Then over a year later I finally decided to get Bard to 34 for Quelling strikes, which lead to Bard getting to 50! Now I'm working on Dragoon, and Ninja Simultaneously. Then it's off to the tanks for cross skills for Dark Knight >:3 Then all that's left is Monk! I'll get all the battle classes to 50 some day! Hopefully before expansion..
Last but not least.. Crafting and Gathering!!
When I first started this game, I wasn't pro at crafting, or gathering. Only once way after when the Artisan glasses came about was when I really got into crafting. Though only recently was when my crafting took off, and I obtained my weaver Lucis. Now I dabble in 3/4 star crafting when I got spare time, and free ehcatl sealants saved up, as well as spare demimateria lying around. I originally made my Gil off Botanist, which wasn't a lot, but I still love gathering my own supplies, and gathering overall. Lucis Botanist Relic weapon, i'm coming for you!
While there's no new content to do until expansion, I don't think I'll ever stop playing. I still have much to do until expansion. (saving up for a small house, leveling other classes, Lucis Botanist Relic weapon, to name a few) I'm even planning in real life how to go about the expansion, and what to do first. :x But I'll talk about that another time :D
